The last week of September
pupils from 3rd course studied and celebrated Harvest festival.
Harvest festival is a traditional British celebration celebrated on a
Sunday near the Full Moon - usually towards the end of September and sometimes
in October.
With the Harvest Festival we give thanks for the harvest and the food
that has been brought in and stored for the winter.
Many schools use the Harvest Festival to raise money for food shortages
in developing countries.
We also made a drawing contest
and these are the winners:
Manane from 3rd A class and Aroa from 3rd
B class.
Congratulations to the winners!!
